Fat Joe Chooses Team Ross In 50 Cent Beef, "I'm Tired Of All These Gimmicks And Games"

Terror Squad leader Fat Joe has sided with Rick Ross during his rap beef against 50 Cent claiming 50, who is also a rival to Joe, is using the battle to promote his forthcoming album.

Joey Crack suggested 50 fall back from his focus on discrediting Ross.

"50 Cent just gotta make music," Joe said in an interview. "He does all these diversions and disses rappers to eliminate the fact that he's not really hot and relevant right now. So if two weeks ago we were talking about 50 Cent, what record or what would we really be talking about unless he disrespected Rick Ross...I'm tired of all these gimmicks and these games. This man's just gotta put out hit records. That's what we're doing...We making music. At the end of the day, we fell in love with hip-hop to make music and hit records." (Kendra G)

Despite Joe's suggestion, Ross has participated in the rap beef releasing his latest anti-50 record "Kiss My Pinky Ring."

Unlike Fat Joe, other rappers like Maino are enjoying the publicized beef.

"I love it. It's fun.," Maino said in an interview." It's very entertaining. I'm watching it like 'Whoa, oh sh*t.' It's hip-hop. N*ggas like, 'Yo, how he gonna get his baby mom,' man f*ck that. This is what it is. Everybody accountable for what they're saying. If you say something to another dude, better be sure somebody else is gonna be saying something to counter that. Former G-Unit member The Game has also revealed his interest in the battle.

/\/\/\Fat Joe's albums dont flop because he's on an independant. You can sell much less on Koch than on Interscope and still make much more. Also, you have to admit that everytime Joe drops he's got at least one hit that's on radio, MTV, BET, etc all day. EVERY ALBUM. Look It Up Yourself. I Can't even remember the last few radio singles 50 Cent/G-Unit had out because they made no impact and caused no buzz whatsoever. Other than on boards like this, nobody really cares because theres no good music coming from that direction.

Fat Joe is absolutely right... before Officer Ricky, nobody was even concerned with 50, except when was the BISD album coming and praying it was better than what we've been getting.

50 uses fake beefs as promotion. We all know that. The difference is, he used to come with hot music to back it up. Not so much any more. Like dude said, 50 needs to get his music back right or the whack beef with the retired CO doesnt really mean anything, IMO.

P.S. SMH @ Game for being more "confused" than Young Buck. All of these dudes are starting to sound corny.

sorry but youre wrong. one different occassions michael koch himself and michael rosenberg have said that despite what these rappers claim they get, the most lucrative deals theyve done with an artist is $4 per unit. mr. koch said in his interview that he doesnt normally comment on it cuz whatever the rappers can do to sell more, the more money he makes.

and btw the artist has to pay for everything on koch. that means they pay for all their marketing, promotion, production, etc. so take fat joes last cd which sold 80,000 and assume he got the best deal koch has at $4 (which he doesnt). thats $320,000. now think about what you have to pay out for everything. video $50,000 at least. advertising/promo $200,000 at least. those numbers are conservative and its almost already wiped out the money he made. and it doesnt even factor in the cost to produce the album.

you should read more posts about the REAL numbers cuz believing what these dumb ass rappers say is a bad move.
