Diddy Co-Signs Lil' Kim's "Notorious" Complaints, "Don't Believe What You Saw In The Movie"

Hip-Hop mogul Diddy has stepped in-between the Lil' Kim and Voletta Wallace verbal attacks claiming the Brooklyn rapper's portrayal in Notorious was not precise.

Diddy addresses the accuracy behind Kim's on-screen persona.

"Kim hit me and she's like, 'Puff, imagine how I feel' you know what I'm saying and I gotta say that what you saw in the movie about Kim, that's not like the real Kimberly Jones," Diddy said in a video. "The only thing I can say about the movie that you may have got that was really great from their relationship was [Biggie Smalls] really respected her as an artist, as an emcee and was into her like that. All the extra stuff, you know, it's a movie and Kim will have her chance. Her own movie will come out there, so yo, give Kim her chance. Don't believe what you saw in the movie." (Diddy Blog)

Kim has recently lashed out against Biggie's mother, Voletta Wallace, saying that she was inaccurately portrayed in Biggie's biopic.

"I wasn't even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie," Kim wrote in a statement. "I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn't have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so "dreadful" as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless...This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace's movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn't a Lil' Kim movie and it's not about me. I didn't want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it." (Bossip)

Ms. Wallace has held her firm stance against the female rapper's arguments.

"She felt the character we chose for her was 'too dark,' " Wallace said. "Do you know why the character was too dark for her? Because she's a white woman trapped in a black woman's body, and you can tell the world I said it, because those are Lil' Kim's words. She should be ashamed of herself." (Hip Hop Weekly)

i liked the movie, but i heard in real life biggie and kim were in love. big got her preggers an she aborted it, and i guess she still regrets that.
