Joe Budden & Saigon Tell Conflicting Stories Of Battle's End, Boxing Match Could Settle All

Nearly a week since ending their rap beef, Saigon and Joe Budden have offered different perspectives on what caused the battle to end and a possible way to settle it once and for all.

The "Pump It Up" rapper claims Sai pleaded with him over the phone to end their battle.

"If me and dude are engaged in a f*cking lyrical battle here and all of a sudden I just stop out of the clear blue sky, there's really no other reason for it besides there was a phone call that took place," Budden said in an interview. "It didn't start out well but we had a good conversation. He begged me to stop. He begged me to leave him alone." (Hip Hop Game)
Prior to Joey's statement, producer Just Blaze wrote on his twitter account last week claiming both rappers deaded the battle via a phone coversation, however Sai denied the occurence.

"I don't know where that came from," Saigon said. "For a while you know Just been trying to squash that sh*t cause he understands what it can turn in to. He just doesn't wanna see it go past -you know just being around me and a lot of my people - and he doesn't wanna see it go anywhere other than wax. And he knows that's very, very, very likely gonna happen." (XXL)
Despite an end to the verbal battle, Budden has invited Sai's challenge to a boxing match.

"I'm down with that. I'm always down with that. We could do it where the funds go to charity or something of that sort. I think that the setting it up part is always the hardest part. I don't think that either party is against the idea but you need somebody to mediate and actually set it up, like a promoter would do a show. (Hip Hop Game)

these things are all fake...makin people really believe sumthing going on and shit, keeping us occupied, causing rates and album sales. next thing you know, the make songs together and act like it all never happened.
