Diddy Reacts To Barack Obama Swearing In Service, "I Want To Be Greater Than I Am Right Now"
Hip-Hop mogul Diddy recently became emotional as he reacted to the induction of President Barack Obama. The Bad Boy CEO claims Barack has inspired him to be "greater." "I just wanted to share with y'all some feelings that I have -- some real, like, personal feelings," Diddy said in a vlog post. "One of the most beautiful things about this situation and Barack Obama is it's even had me reflect on myself. It's even had me talk to myself and say, 'I can be greater, I could do more, I could give more, I could have even more of a positive impact.' And I can help more people. I think we should all push ourselves to that point. That's really deep that there's someone out there that inspires me like that." "I feel blessed that I'm able to see this moment," Diddy added. "I'm on Team Obama, I'm on Team USA, I'm on Team Black America -- I want to be greater than I am right now. And I want you to be greater. I want us to be greater." (Diddy Blog) Diddy previously confirmed his attendance at Tuesday's Presidential Inauguration last month. "If I don't have the best seat in the house, I'll be alright," Diddy said. "As long as I am there and around the people and able to witness my fellow Americans." (Access Hollywood) He has also publicly displayed his support of Barack Obama leading up to his presidential election in November 2008. Jay-Z, Diddy and Mary J. Blige united Monday morning in North Philadelphia continuing their "Promote The Vote" campaign for tomorrow's presidential election. the trio made their appearances around 10:30 a.m. on Monday (November 3) encouraging city residents to allow their voices to be heard by voting in this historic election between Democrat hopeful Barack Obama and Republican candidate John McCain.
