Former NFL Star Andre Rison Arrested For Public Drunkeness

Former NFL football star, Andre Rison, was arrested early Monday morning (December 29) in San Antonio, Texas, and charged with public intoxication.

According to the SA News, the 41-year-old five-time Pro Bowl receiver and one time boyfriend of the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes arrived at the Crown Plaza Hotel with a friend around 2 a.m., and caused a scene after learning that local bars had closed.

Rison and his friend then began to act "rambunctious," prompting a call from the police.

A hotel spokesperson said that the manager on duty agreed to allow the pair to return to their rooms without consequence, but the responding police officer decided to arrest Rison and his friend.

Both men paid an $85 fine, and stayed in jail overnight, before being released at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
