Posted: Thursday - December 11, 2008 Toni BraxtonMany wondered why multi platinum artist Toni Braxton was absence at the Dancing With The Stars finale but the singer was having a tumor removed from her breast, according to US Weekly. "I was worried about what they would find," Braxton told US Weekly. "But it was benign." During a routine check-up, doctors found the lump. "Getting the boot on the show was actually a blessing in disguise for me," Braxton said. "We have family history. My grandmother on my dad's side died of breast cancer, and I have aunts on both sides that have breast cancer." What's more, Tony Braxton signed a new record deal with Atlantic Records.
