Dawn Richard Talks Danity Kane Future

Dawn RichardDuring the 9th Annual Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation Youth Holiday Party in New York on December 9, Yo! Raps talked to Danity Kane member Dawn Richard about the future of Diddy's Bad Boy group and winners of MTV's Making The Band.



Dawn Richard who was invited as a celebrity guests had a quick talk with us about the situation with Danity Kane.



"I have no idea! If anyone knows please tell me. We had a show and they told us to show up; Aundrea and I were the only people that came. So we can only just pray and hope, you can't force anyone to be apart of something. I just know that I want to be apart of Danity Kane, so that's all I can answer for myself," the singer told Yo! Raps.



As previously reported, after the finale of Making The Band 4 aired on MTV, D. Woods and Aubrey O'Day's dismissal from Danity Kane was a done deal. Proving that everything isn't always what it seems on TV, Dawn Richardson have come forward to offer their version of the events, thoughts on why Diddy booted O'Day, and predictions on what's next for the group.



"Puff did not like [O'Day's] image... where her image was going for the group," Dawn said to UsMagazine. "It wasn't a personal thing." According to Dawn, O'Day's recent topless photo spread for Complex magazine is what sealed the deal.



Whatever the future holds for Danity Kane, Dawn has a Christmas message for the readers of Yo! Raps.



"It's never about the gifts, it's always the about family! Life is short, things can happen in a second - so make sure you cherish the right things. Gifts are just a bonus," she said.
