Faith Evans: "Lil' Kim Does Not Owe Me An Apology"

In her recently released book, Faith Evans details the events surrounding the love affair between her then husband Notorious B.I.G. and Lil Kim. Despite the pair's obvious love connection, Evans says she holds no ill will toward the pint sized female MC and even tried to reach out to her when she was incarcerated.

"I don't feel she owes me an apology, to be honest," Evans said in an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine. "I don't expect an apology because, whatever situation was between us wasn't caused by her or myself being a bad person or having bad intentions with one another. We came across each other's path by way of a common denominator, and that was Big. We were both at different places in our lives... She seems to have moved on in a lot of ways... so I'm proud of her evolvement."

Evans also admitted that she was upset when she heard about Kim's conviction back in 2005 and tried, albeit unsuccessfully, to get in contact with her.

"I tried for a couple of minutes to see if I could get her contact information..." Evans added, "but once it didn't happen right away I didn't want to push it, and I didn't want to have to go through the different channels of getting in touch with the people I probably would have had to call."

Faith Evans' book, Keeping The Faith, was released earlier this year.

I'm not mad at Faith for moving on. They were all young, in the spotlight, and living a million miles an hour. Especially Biggie. It's hard being in your early 20s and not turning that groupie pussy down, along with that freaky Lil Kim.
