The Charts: John Legend Evolves His Way Outta The Top 5

Not much is going on for the week on the Billboard 200, as far as urban releases go. The "Twilight" soundtrack has taken the throne, while "High School Musical 2," rockband AC/DC's and Pink's latest albums take over the top five.

However, singer John Legend is still doing well. His latest album, <>Evolver, took a little drop to no. 6 this week, selling 72,000 copies, while T.I.'s Paper Trail held on to no. 7 for the second week in a row with 69,000 copies sold.

Right outside the top 10, A Tribe Called Quest frontman, Q-Tip, debuted at no. 11, with his new solo album, Renaissance. It sold just over 34,000 copies in its opening week.

At no. 18 is Ne-Yo and his Year of the Gentleman album, which sold just over 25,000 copies, while Lil Wayne's Tha Carter 3 rounds out the top 20 at no. 19, with another 23,000 copies sold.

As far as new releases, DJ UNK dropped his 2econd Season album last week, and managed to sell 5,200 copies, putting him at no. 104 to start.

At no. 194, Plies' Definition of Real sold another couple thousand units, and is certified gold, while he gears up for the release of a new record by the end of the year titled Da REAList.

With 7.02 million units sold last week, sales are up 1% from last issue's charts and down 29% from same week last year, reports Billboard.
