Plies Strikes Gold Twice In One Year

Fort Myers, Florida rapper Plies was awarded a Gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of his sophomore album, Definition of Real. The Gold certification is the second issued to the rapper in under one year. His debut album The Real Testament also sold over the mandatory 500,000 copies and was certified in June 2008. The rapper is currently preparing for the release of his third album Da Realist, which is scheduled to hit stores on December 16, 2008. Plies is currently on the nationwide "Street Elections 08" campaign, promoting his upcoming album. The first official radio single is titled "Put It On Ya" and was produced by No I.D.

He had 2 pretty good albums but from everything i heard lately, he don't got any "Buss It Baby" or "Hypnotized" on this one. He should take his time and push it back unless he really do got some fiiiiire.

Plies & fiiiiire shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath...IMO...

i can relate to some plies songs so he completed his mission, he aint tryin to be lyrical, he just want you to hear him
