Travis Barker To Write Songs About Deadly Plane Crash

After surviving a plane crash that claimed the lives of two of his close friends, Travis Barker says that he will share his feeling about the tragedy on his new album.

"I cant wait to work on my records," Barker said. "I lost one of my best friends in this crash. I can't wait to get back to writing and expressing myself, get back into the swing of things. I have so much stuff just jumbled in my head right now. I can't wait."

As previously reported by Yo! Raps, the horrific plane crash killed four of it's six passengers: pilot Sarah Lemmon, co-pilot James Bland, Barker's assistant Chris Baker, and body guard Charles Still. After jumping from the burning wreckage, Barker and DJ Am both suffered from second and third degree burns on various parts of their bodies.

After being released from the hospital on September 29, Barker said, "I hate planes. My biggest fear ever is to be involved in a plane crash, so when that happened... well, I'm just thankful to be alive! I'm just grateful to be here at all."
