Janet Jackson Hospitalized In Canada, Show Canceled
Published: Tuesday - September 30, 2008 Words by Liz "Red" Thomas Janet Jackson was reportedly hospitalized in Canada on Monday (September 29) after falling ill just before she was scheduled to perform. According to the Associated Press, the singer's publicist released a statement which said that she had canceled her concert in Montreal Monday after she "got suddenly ill" during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time. At press time, Jackson was being monitored at the unnamed hospital, but further information regarding her condition was not given. She does, however, plan to reschedule her show. The 42-year-old is currently on her North American Rock Witchu tour. Last week, she cancelled a weekend stop in Detroit due to "production constraints". Source: ballerstatus
