Chart Movement Young Jeezy Stays On Top, LL Cool J Makes His Debut

Young Jeezy's The Recession remains at the top of the Billboard's 'Top Rap Albums Chart' this week by pushing 89,900 units.

After 2 weeks on the charts, The Recession has sold a total of 350,500 copies.

Compton rapper The Game holds fort at No. 2. L.A.X. pushes 49,200 discs this week, pushing its total to 377,100.

Posted at No. 3 is Lil Wayne. Tha Carter III scans 47,300 copies this week. So far, the album has sold a total of 2,409,900 discs.

Debuting at No. 4 is LL Cool J with his latest effort titled Exit 13. The set shifts 43,700 units in its first week out.

Entering the charts at No. 5 is Gym Class Heroes with their sophomore album The Quilt. The album bags up 32,200 units in its first week spin.

Reggaton duo R.K.M & Ken-Y debut at No. 6 with their latest effort titled The Royalty. The set scans 14,500 copies in its first week on the charts.

Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall makes his debut at No. 7 with his fourth solo album titled Not 4 Sale. The album, which features appearances from Akon, T-Pain and >Rihanna, reels in 11,900 copies in its opening week.

Sitting at No. 8 is Ice Cube. Raw Footage sold 11,700 copies this week. The album's tally stands at 130,300.

M.I.A. slides four slots down to No. 9. Kala scanned 10,500 units this week. To date, the album has sold 313,400 copies.

Wrapping things up is Shwayze at No. 10. Their self titled project moves 7,900 units this week. So far, the album has sold 85,100 copies.
