Ne-Yo Brings Along Special Guests For Hennessy Concert Series

Grammy award winning R&B sensation Ne-Yo will headline Hennessy’s Artistry Concert Series this fall.

As the concert’s first ever curator Ne-Yo will design all aspects of the series, from the actual performances to the stage design.

Senior Vice President of Hennessy, Andy Glaser said "With his unique mix of classic refinement and hip-hop appeal, Ne-Yo is the perfect curator to shape the ambiance of the Hennessy artistry concert series" adding "Ne-Yo will create Hennessy's mix of class and style in the concerts' settings.

The six city tour will begin in Los Angeles on September 17th, the day after the release of his third Def Jam album, The Year of the Gentleman. It will then visit Chicago, Detroit, Miami, New Orleans and end in New York.

On partnering with the world’s number one cognac, Ne-Yo said, "Hennessy and I are a good mix. Hennessy is known for its skilled blending of tradition with trendy innovation in its drinks and in its appeal. That's a lot like what I try to do with my music. I'm always trying to find the right balance of class and urban style."

The Year of the Gentleman features production by Polow Da Don, Stargate, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, and J.R. Rotem. The album hits stores Tuesday September 16th.
