Termanology Links W/ DJ Premier, Alchemist & Hi Tek For Debut LP

Up-and-coming East Coast rapper Termanology is prepping his debut album with a strong line-up of producers including DJ Premier, The Alchemist, Havoc, DJ Hi-Tek, Pete Rock and others.

The album, Politics As Usual, will offer a wide range of sounds as it mixes classic boom-bap ‘90s production with the help of other well-known producers like Easy Mo Bee, Buckwild, Large Professor and Nottz. Known for his lyricism and swagger, the half-white, half-Puerto Rican emcee’s debut is expected to offer something different.

“Term has a unique desire for the culture because he touches the issues that I can relate to,” Premo wrote in a statement. “His flows are nice and he stays creative with his subject matter - he even speaks for me and not every new emcee comin’ up can do that.”

Respected not only from the East, Term has received acclaim from other regions including the South.

“Termanology puts the MC back in MC’ing,” Houston rapper Bun B said in a statement. “He’s a breath of fresh air in this dirty game.”

Politics As Usual is scheduled to hit stores September 30 on ST Records/Nature Sounds Records.

because g unit would sound so unbelievably shitty over a premo beat that he wouldnt ruin one of his masterpieces by giving it to them, and i guess havoc just recognizes that termanology is real hip hop unlike the dieing g unit movement
