07/16/08 - JR Writer Dropping Writer's Block 6 In August

JR Writer, fresh off his release of Politics and Bullshit, is showing no signs of slowing down. The Harlem MC is currently putting the finishing touches on his latest mixtape, Writer's Block 6.

"Me and Duke Da God is putting it out in the streets," JR told HipHopGame. "Expect Dipset features, maybe even some outside features. And I might be destroying a few people's careers. It's a street mixtape, something I haven't put out since Writer's Block 3, so it's going to be crazy, especially when there's no boundaries to it. I can pick and choose any beats I want - old, new or original, so that's going to be real crazy. I'm going to put it out in August right before I go on my UK tour with Juelz and Freekey."

JR Writer also spoke on his creativity. "I'm in a different zone right now, real focused on my music and working on my sophomore album Write Away, which is so far a classic," JR added. There is no release date set for Write Away.

I hope he does decide to go through with destroying a few careers.

I can't wait for this and I'm glad to hear he's still working on "write away"

I like everything writer does but the first 3 writers blocks seemed to be better than his official reatail stuff he's been doing. Even the in between real mixtape stuff such as Tru dyke, 80 in the clip, i'm the shit etc seems to be more interesting than the actual stuff on the last few tapes.
