07/13/08 - West Coast Rap Veteran C-Bo Readies New Album West Side Riders 4

West Coast Mafia Records continues to build on their impressive track record in the rap game with the first of two August releases from the Californian rap icon C-Bo. “West Side Riders 4” drops on August 5th and is the first release under the label's new distribution deal with independent powerhouse, KOCH.

Over the years C-Bo's “West Side Riders” series has sold over 200 000 units and this fourth volume is set to deliver the goods once again, and demonstrate C-Bo's continued growth as an artist. West Coast Mafia label mates Killa Tay, Young Bleed, Big-O, Young Chaz, Streets, Spade all contribute in addition to the Outlawz, Yukmouth, Realist, and more. I think Buck is on the album, but this ain't a Ca$hville release, it's C-Bo's own label he had before he signed with Buck.

Buck recordlabel is being called Cashville Records but half of the niggas signed there are from The West Coast.

Just yesterday I heard a real fucked up punchline about Buck. Homie was showing a payroll in some kind of videoclip and somebody commented: "Why you showing a payroll when you got tax problems?"

I assumed that he signed with buck to possibly have the ability to occasionaly go on G-Unit tours. Other than that what sense does it make to sign to another artist's label when you have your own?

I wonder how whatever record label cashville is supposedly distributed by feels about buck's lack of business accumen. you would think that before anyone committed money to him that they would have done due dilligence in regards to his financial history. I suppose they might have looked past that because of his affiliation to 50.
