05/15/08 - DMX Shows Up To Late, Pleads Not Guilty
Rapper DMX showed up to court an hour late today (May 15), where he entered a not guilty plea to an assortment of felony drug charges.
DMX's Cave Creek, Arizona home was raided on May 9, after a seven month investigation into animal cruelty charges, after 12 malnourished dogs were recovered from the rapper’s property last August. According to reports, DMX, born Earl Simmons was arraigned on two counts of marijuana possession and one for drug paraphernalia. Although he charged with a misdemeanor count for animal cruelty, he was not arraigned on that charge today. DMX is due back in court on July 2. source: ahh
