T-Pain leads the way with five nominations for the 2008 BET Awards.The ceremony is scheduled to air in Los Angeles, CA on June 24.A highly sought-after hook man, Pain is nominated for his guest spots on Kanye West’s “Good Life,” Flo Rida’s “Low” and Chris Brown’s “Kiss Kiss” in the best collaboration category. He’s also nominated twice for video of the year. Despite releasing a gold-selling album, Epiphany, and a chart-topping single, “Buy U A Drank,” none of Pain’s nominations came from his work.Other multiple nominees include West and Keyshia Cole with three nods apiece while Flo Rida, Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige all earned two. Legendary soul singer Al Green is set to receive a lifetime achievement award, and producer Quincy Jones will be rewarded for this humanitarian work. Lil’ Wayne, Usher and Nelly are scheduled to announce the nominees live on “106 & Park” later today. Weezy, Blige and Mariah Carey are already confirmed to perform live at the awards. –Carl Chery
