A representative from Compton-based MC The Game has come forward to deny reports that the rapper’s forthcoming album may be pushed back from its original release date of June 24.



The buzz is fueled by G-Unit frontman 50 Cent, who threatened to block the release of The Game’s L.A.X., should the album be released at the same time as G-Unit’s upcoming release Terminate On Site.



Despite the claims, the label representative stated that The Game will indeed have something to offer fans this summer.



"We have no intentions to move our album date of June 24," a representative for The Game told AllHipHop.com. "If we do move it, it will be 50 Cent and G-Unit’s lucky day, but I doubt if The Game is into answering G-Unit’s prayers."



In a recent interview with MTV, 50 Cent stated that he believed G-Unit’s new album Terminate on Sight will easily triumph over Game’s L.A.X., should the two factions square off on the same day in stores.



"I’ma wait a little, then I'm just gonna push his album back," the rapper told MTV.com. "I don't think there's anyone that would legitimately look at him like it's a competition, him versus G-Unit. It just doesn't make sense. I make money every time he releases an album. He signed a five-album deal. He's only on album three."



50 Cent’s conflict with The Game isn’t the first time the New York native has gone one on one with a fellow rapper in the battle for SoundScan supremacy.



Just last year, 50 Cent and Kanye West squared off by releasing albums on the same day.



West’s Graduation ultimately won the battle by selling 957,000 copies over 50 Cent’s Curtis, which moved 691,000 units in the first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan figures.



Both albums were released on Sept. 11, 2007.

That was tru 2 years ago, but not now. After the way they fucked up Curtis and shit, leaking songs and videos, how do you leak videos? And with Fif telling Jimmy to fuck off and shit, and with Fif haveing only 1 more album before he probably leaves, Interscope knows this, so the figure maybe if they go at it, they saw the Ye and Fif shit, granted, GAme wont come close to those numbers, and wont come close to Curtis numbers, but a showdown will def add buzz to Games album, so if they can get more promotion for Game and maybe for G Unit, they dont care. Think about it, if Fif leaves and takes G Unit, there goes Interscopes top crew, they still have Dre and Em, but both of them have 1 album left, so with no Em, Dre and if Fif and G Unit leave, who is there number 1 rap artist? Game. So they could be looking down the road, figure Fif gonna leave, so why do we have to give in to him? So they might be focusing on how they move ahead with Game.

Game has loyal fans, 50 and G unit have product fans, Banks was dope in 2004, he sold, he came weak with Rotten Apple, he sold less...much less.

Game sold great with DOC, He had drama and all, made Good, but Not Too mainstream DA, and still sold good, meaning that fans backed him up, West Coast backed him up,

Game has much more loyal fans than 50, Even if he releases very very avarage Hit, he will still sell, liek Lets RIde, it was ok, but it wasnt shit, and he still pushed 500 000 in 2 weeks of soundscan, if that Was Banks, he would flop even worse than Rotten Apple..
