01/21/08 - Kurupt working on new solo project

Kurupt, one half of the West Coast rap duo Tha Dogg Pound, recently revelead to Dubcnn that the production of his next solo project will be overseen by Hi- Tek and Terrance Martin.

The former Deathrow Records rapper did not reveal when or what label he will be releasing the project throught but stressed that "it's different than anything else they've heard Kurupt on"

Kurupt will also releasing a collaborative project with DJ Quik and will be appearing on Snoop Dogg's Ego Trippin' which hits stores in March.

Kurupt is one of the best on the West Coast, he's one of my favorite rappers of all time. I can't wait for a new Kurupt album, especially with Hi-Tek on the beats.... that's gonna be dope!

As for that freestyle on BET it was not great but one of the very few raw freestyles on that show, still it was crap, Kurupt has fallin off last couple albums, just like his 1st 2 alot, Kuruption & Streets, them last couple to me was borin, guess its his last ditch effort to shine before his wife join G Unit, man she is whippin it right now as a female MC, Im more interested in her than him at the moment.
