Usher's Father Dies Suddenly
Posted: 01/20/2008

Reports are saying that Usher's father, Usher Raymond III, died suddenly Friday (Jan. 18) in an Atlanta are hospital.

Mediatakeout is reporting that Usher, his wife Tameka and mother Jonetta Patton were by Usher Sr.'s side when he passed.

Usher's parents split when he was young but the R&B superstar always maintained a strong relationship with his father.

Usher is expected to release his new album sometime in 2008.
