Nelly and NBA superstar Allen Iverson will be the focus of IFC's series Framed tonight (January 4)

Framed is a series which gives celebrities the chance to direct short films about athletes over the course of two days.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Nelly plays director this time around and hangs out with Iverson in Atlanta over two days discussing their competitiveness, O.J. Simpson and playing poker.

“I have always respected [Nelly’s] creativity,” Iverson told The Inquirer . “He always does things his way and I knew he would have a cool vision for the film.”

“We already had a competitive relationship and he wanted to bring that aspect out in the film, so it was very natural,” he continued. “He also hates scripts as much as me, so making it unscripted was good for both of us and made it real. He had to convince me that a short film around playing spades would work and he was right.”

Nelly and Iverson's Framed will air at 10:30 p.m. Watch the trailer below:
