Amplive Supports Radiohead's Digital-Only Album With Remix Project

Oakland-based DJ/producer Amplive recently announced details regarding his Rainydayz Remixes project, an remix album comprised of tracks from English rock band Radiohead's latest digital album, In Rainbows.

The new project has been expanded by the producer and will include eight tracks featuring verses from Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, Too Short, Zion, and a host of other collaborators -- all of which will be announced, along with a complete tracklist, on January 4th.

Unlike In Rainbows, Rainydayz Remixes has a set price: FREE. The digital-only collection will be available as a zip file including 320kbps MP3s, and hi-res artwork. But, there's a small catch. The album will only be available to those who have already purchased or will purchase Radiohead's original release.

If you bought In Rainbows, you'll most likely remember receiving an email or three from W.A.S.T.E., Radiohead's web store, which handled the administration of the band's digital-only, pay-what-you-want model. The only way to receive a copy of Raindayz Remixes is to forward an email from W.A.S.T.E. to amplive@onesevensevensix.com, proving participation in the band's revolutionary approach to releasing their new record.

Amplive would like to reward the support of Radiohead.

Rainydayz Remixes is slated for release on January 10.
