Ghostface Killah Headlines Adult Swim's Free College Tour

Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's highly rated late-night programming block for young adults, recently announced the launch of a 12-stop college tour, featuring the Wu-Tang's Ghostface Killah and Witchdoctor.

The tour, which kicked off on October 1 at the State University of New York in Albany will hit 11 more colleges around the country, before hitting their final destination at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque on October 19.

The tour stops will be free of charge, but the catch is, that only students with ID cards from the respective colleges will be allowed entry. Each is allowed one guest.

The tour marks Adult Swim Presents' -- a series of live entertainment performances -- premiere event. Adding fuel to the fire, the college tour comes just in time to support the release of Witchdoctor's new album, The Diary Of An American Witchdoctor, due in stores on October 23, courtesy of Adult Swim's Williams Street record label.

Headlining the tour will be the Wu's Ghostface Killah, who has released six influential hip-hop records throughout his solo career. Opening and warming up the crowd for Ghost is Atlanta's own Witchdoctor, who is known as a part of the Dungeon Family collective (which includes artists like OutKast, Organized Noize and Killer Mike).

"Williams Street records and Adult Swim have really opened doors for me to communicate directly with my fans," said Witchdoctor. "This is the kind of tour every artist out there wants to be a part of and I'm one of the select few to be able to offer free shows to my fans in this incredible setting."
