Rakim, Ghostface and Brother Ali Headline Hip Hop Live Tour

Acclaimed lyricists Rakim, Ghostface Killah and Brother Ali will headline the first annual Hip Hop Live tour, which kicks off on October 29 at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, Calif. Presented by Flow TV and Dodge, and produced by The Agency Group, the 19 city tour will not only feature three incredible hip-hop lyricist, but also a 10-piece live band called the Rhythm Roots Allstars. “It’s an honor to be backing up some of hip-hop’s most legendary MCs,” the Allstars said in a statement. “We played with Rakim and Ghostface at South by Southwest this year and it was an amazing experience.” Previously, the Rhythm Roots Allstars have performed with artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and OutKast. “Hip-Hop’s roots are nourished by live music,” says Rakim. “For artists who dug through crates searching for the perfect sample, always trying to replicate the sounds of a full band, standing on a stage, moving the crowd in front of this talent is both the nexus and the pinnacle of what we do.” The complete tour dates for the Hip-Hop Live tour are as follows.
