Multiple Canadian Urban Music Artists Cover Latest Issue of Urbanology Magazine

Canada’s leading urban lifestyle publication, Urbanology Magazine, is making a strong statement this fall, telling readers and industry heads alike, “The North Has Arrived.”

After having already featured over 200 different Canadians, Urbanology presents four cover stories on some of Canada’s most prominent urban music acts with its latest issue. Point Blank tells of the forces working against their success in the music industry, Belly reveals why he revels in all the hateration he receives, Jully Black drops inspiration for young ladies everywhere and DL Incognito shares his lifelong love affair with hip-hop.

To round out the issue’s all Canadian music line up is Richie Sosa, Baby Yu, Masia One, Bishop Brigante, Aristo, J Diggz, Untitled and Red1. On the Fashion tip, MTV Canada host Aliya-Jasmine Sovani stops by to spread some of her style insight and a special eight-page photo spread celebrates the creative designs of Canadian designers Curtis James, Mo’Knotic, Krystal Miller, NISE and Trapped clothing.

“This issue represents a strong, strong message. Canada has a wealth of talent within the urban community and everyone from the consumers to the industry is waking up to this,” explains Priya Ramanujam, Editor-in-Chief and Founder of Urbanology Magazine. “As I wrote in my editor’s note, this may be our first Canadian cover, but it definitely does not have to be the last. We’re leaving that up to our readers to decide.”
