When Pimps Collide: Pimp C And Pimpin' Ken Team For "Best Of Both Worlds" DVD

UGK rapper Pimp C has joined forces with Pimpin' Ken, the real-life pimp best known for his appearance on HBO's "Pimps Up, Hos Down," to put together Best of Both Worlds, a documentary featuring rappers and pimps exploring the game from both perspectives.

Best of Both Worlds, which is currently nominated for a Southern Entertainment Award for "Indie DVD Film of the Year," explores the ins and outs of the pimp lifestyle. It offers appearances from Bun B, 50 Cent, T.I., Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Mistah F.A.B., Jazzy Phae, Minister Seymore and a plethora of past and present pimps

Pimpin' Ken, whose real name is Ken Ivey, became a pimp at age 16. He's since made his march into entertainment appearing on record with UGK, Jermaine Dupri, Too Short and Lil Jon. He released a book, Pimpology; The 48 Laws of the Game with Karen Hunter this July.

Alongside partner Bun B, Pimp C recently released UGK's first #1 album Underground Kingz this August. The album also features appearances from Three 6 Mafia, Scarface, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Slim Thug, Too Short and Rick Ross.

Best of Both Worlds is due out this December.
