G-Unit’s Tony Yayo rejected an offer of nine months in prison for his alleged assault of Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond’s 14 year-old son on Tuesday (July 24). Yayo was arrested in March and charged with misdemeanor assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child after Rosemond claimed that he was slapped by the rapper near his father’s Czar Entertainment offices in Manhattan. He later posted $5,000 in bail and was released. Yayo’s attorney, Scott Leemon, scoffed at the prosecutor’s offer. “The prosecution’s nine-month offer is one Tony vehemently rejected,” said Leemon. “It’s not even a good offer for a guilty person, and Tony denies the allegations absolutely.” Leemon has asked the court to subpoena e-mail messages sent between Czar Entertainment and their public relations firm, 5W Public Relations. Judge Neil Ross has adjourned the case until September 6, when he is expected to rule on the motion.
