Rihanna "Rains" On The Charts, "Umbrella" Makes History

R&B singer Rihanna made history recently with her hit single "Umbrella," which currently holds the distinction of being the longest-running number one single on the UK charts since 1994.

According to BBC News, the song featuring Def Jam Prez Jay-Z, has held the No. 1 spot for ten weeks, making Rihanna the seventh artist in the chart's history to achive that feat.

In related news, the Barbados born crooner, who just premiered the self-directed video for "Don't Stop The Music," will be dropping her collaboration with Ne-Yo titled "Hate That I Love You" as her next single off Good Girl Gone Bad.

Fans of the singer will be able to hear her give a live and exclusive in-studio performance of her greatest hits for Clear Channel Radio's " Stripped" series tommorow (July 24) at strippedmusic.com.
