Kottonmouth Kings Team Up With Tech N9ne For Collabo, Tour

Cali hip-hop hybrids, the Kottonmouth Kings, have joined forces with Tech N9ne for their first single, "City 2 City," from their forthcoming ninth studio album, Cloud 9.

In support of the new album, the group will be joining Tech on the road for this summer's Strange Noize Tour, featuring special guests (hed)pe, Blaze Ya' Dead Homie, and Subnoize Souljaz featuring Big B and Dirtball.

"We met up with Tech N9ne in the city of sin, Las Vegas, to shoot the video for 'City 2 City'," said Daddy X of Kottonmouth Kings. "The video is a reflection of the party that is about to blast off across the nation this summer when this tour kicks off."

After breaking the Billboard Top 40 with no support from radio or MTV with their last album, Koast To Koast, the Kottonmouth Kings enjoyed one of the most successful years of their career, landing on the cover of High Times Magazine and headlining this year's Cannabis Cup.

But, despite all the success of last year, they did not stop. They went right back into the studio to work on Cloud 9, which is being released through the group's independently owned Suburban Noize Records. It features guest appearances from Insane Clown Posse and Cypress Hill, as well as Tech N9ne.

"I've been waiting for the Kottonmouth Kings and I to hook up since the Wicked Wonka Tour and here it is, one of the biggest indie tours ever," said Tech N9ne. "We about to kick it like donkeys for sure. The Kansas City King and the Kottonmouth Kings, I'm gonna say it like they say it, 'It's gonna be gnarly!'"

Its good to see Tech N9ne and Kottonmouth Kingz tour together on the Strange Noize Tour it is gonna be like a big fuckin party just like Daddy X says and its been a while since the last time they toured together.I am not really a big KK fan but a few of my boys are but Tech N9ne is raw and he puts on a tight show.If you havent seen him perform go see this tour or get his album Absolute Power it comes with a DVD you will see how crazy and Hyph his shows get.Absoulute Power and Everraedy The Religion are two classic albums and the two songs he has leaked from his new collabo album Misery Loves Company MLK are fire.Him Big Krizz Kaliko Dilema and D-Loc(Not D-Loc from Kottonmouth Kings) spit rapid fire on Midwest Choppers and T9 Kutt Kalhoun and Big Krizz Kaliko have a dope collabo on Gangsta Shap and both songs got crazy beats.Im gonna go see the House Of Blues show in Chicago for sure and I might go to the Pearl Room show in Mokena IL cause its 10 min from the crib and this tour is gonna be crazy.But I give all the props in the world to the Kottonmouth Kings there are all good dudes I just dont fuck with there music the King Spade shit with Richter and D-Loc is alright.I haven't heard there new song City 2 City from there album Cloud 9 with T9 yet but Im gonna check it out there other collabo's with T9 are tight so I bet this is to and they shot the video in Vegas so that shit probably was crazy.They do put on a good show and you will get blowed at a KK show no doubt.They got the High Times cover and Headined The Canibus Cup that is big shit in the world of chronic.There Koast 2 Koast album sold a lot of units for a Independent album so there new CD will sell well but why the fuck is ICP on that shit they are so fuckin wack.But I bet this tour is gonna be a classic so after I go and get blasted I let yall know how that shit was.
