"T.I. Vs. T.I.P." Projected To Be King Of Sales
Friday - July 6, 2007

T.I.'s fifth album T.I. vs. T.I.P. is reportedly on pace to being the highest selling rap album of the year.

According to HitsDailyDouble.com, the album is projected to sell over 500,000 copies by next week and will grab the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.

T.I. vs. T.I.P., which hit shelves Tuesday (July 3), features guest appearances from Jay-Z, Eminem, Wyclef Jean and Busta Rhymes. The Atlanta bred rapper recently revealed to SOHH how he managed to net some of hip hop's biggest names for his project.

"I created a wish list of whoever I wanted to work with," explained T.I. "Jason Geter (T.I.'s Manager) and company, they went out, they made it known that this is who I wanted to work with and they were kind enough to respond with cooperation." Watch video [here].

In celebration of his newest release, SOHH will be bringing readers exclusive coverage from the "King of the South" all week long.

yo, on the real!!!! I got the new tip vs ti cd, its not that great! 50 Cent/G-unit puts out much hotter cd's! Its the teeny boppers that are voting for TI and getting him on the awards too...

oh and p.s. I dont mind TI, but he is still the "self proclaimed" king, not real king

ti album is by far the worst one he has recored so far but yet will get the most record sales he has recorred so far..this is whats wrong with hip hop these days...bucks album was soo much better..alot of ppl deserve those sales this past year .. ti is not one of them

Theres always gonna be an album that deserves to sell better, but guess what? They didnt get the promotion, radio play, etc that they needed. TI did all those things right, and yall wanna hate? Its whatever. Props to TI for doing his thing.
