06/04/07 - Wyclef Produces Documentary Film on Haitian Gangs
 Wyclef Jean is executively producing an upcoming documentary that follows the lives of gang leaders in his Haitian homeland. The movie, titled “Ghosts of the Cite Soleil,” captures the slum of Cite Soleil in the months leading up to the overthrow of former Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide. The movie has already screened at the Telluride and Toronto film festivals, and will open on June 27 in New York and July 6 in Los Angeles before a nationwide release.
