05/07/07 - Jim Jones Admits, "Me & Cam Haven't Spoken in a Year"

The future of The Diplomats could be in jeopardy as Jim Jones recently revealed to Hot 97's Miss Info of a beef with Dipset boss Cam'ron.

In her blog, Miss Info tv, the infamous radio personality claims Jones told her 'on the record' that his relationship with Cam has been nonexistent.

"Me and Cam'ron haven't spoken to each other in a year...I kept quiet out of loyalty, I felt like if we can't be friends then at least we can do business together," Jones explained to Miss Info. "But now I can't be next to you...I'm through with being in hot water because of you...We still the Diplomats. We worked too hard to achieve our own success and now we're gonna do something new."

According to Miss Info, Jones' statement has also surprised other members of the Dipset crew including Juelz Santana, who is not 'siding against Cam'ron'.

Jones revelation comes as a shocker as two and a half months ago he was on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 radio show professing his loyalty to Cam'ron and dispelling rumors of a rift.

"I've been hearing a lot of 'what's up with you and Cam? You and Cam splitting up?' or 'you and Cam beefing?'" he said. "Cam is my brother from a different mother, I mean that literally. We've been in situations where we didn't have nothing. $5.50 to get a chicken sandwich and smoke. We've been in each others refrigerators. I love him from the top of his head to the sole of his feet; he can do no wrong in my eyes."

Miss Info and Funkmaster Flex will be interviewing Jones about his statement on Flex's Hot 97 radio show on Monday night. He will also divulge "shocking suspicions" of Tru Life's alleged assault of Cam'ron outside of Club Stereo, in New York last week.

Cam, who could not be reached to comment on Jim's revelation, denied being assaulted by Tru Life via his camp, who called the incident a publicity stunt.

its nto the 50 thing, 50 is an isolated incident. cam is an idiot in the way he responds to everything. he prolly took a bigger cut of jimmys cash then he shoudl have for no reason...and then his 60 minutes thing brought alot of heat down on him and his crew...and jimmy knows wht cam is really like....they prolly stopped beign friends since the basketball arena stadium fight thing where *i think* cuz im nto sure of the details so dont quote me, that cam ran away from a fight leavin jim there to fend for himself. i dunno...diplomats are kidn of a silly crew but juelz and jimmy seem liek they can hodl their own. santana isnt too bad to be honest..ay ay ay ay ay lol

^ you right man, people love talking up 50 whenever they get the chance, its sickening. yea i agree cams finished but it wasnt because of 50. It was the fight at Rucker when cam left jimmy out to dry. Jim said himself they aint talk in over a year. Cam done, and i aint hating on 50 or anything like that but cams career was going down way before they got into it.
