05/06/07 - Sources Say Fab Concert A Scam, Man Shot In Parking Lot In Catskills

State police are investigating a shooting that took place in the Catskills, NY last night (May 5), after what was reported to be a performance by rapper Fabolous.

While details are sketchty, Fabolous, born John Jackson, was promoted as having a performance at the Friar Tuck Resort.

A source told AllHipHop.com that an argument broke out the parking lot, resulting in one man being shot around 4:00 am this morning (May 6).

The source said the unidentified man is being treated at a local hospital.

Police refused to comment on the shooting when contacted by AllHipHop.com.

Other sources said that the concert was a scam and that Fabolous was never scheduled to make an appearance at the Friar Tuck Resort.
