Super Tuesday: Young Buck, Prodigy, Redman, Lil Flip, MIMS, and more hit stores today. Here's the rundown.

New albums from Young Buck, Redman, Prodigy, Mims, Lil Flip and The Dogg Pound are some of the hottest picks hitting record store shelves today (March 27).

With naysayers claiming 'G-Unit is Dead', Young Buck is out to prove that his crew is still a force to be reckoned with. His sophomore album, Buck the World, features appearances from 50 Cent, Ky-mani Marley, 8Ball & MJG, T.I., Young Jeezy, Snoop Dogg and Linkin Park member Chester Bennington, among others.

Production on the album is supplied by Dr. Dre, Polow Da Don, Lil Jon, Jazze Pha, Jake One and Needlz.

"I really put it in on this record," Buck told SOHH in a recent interview. "You have to be real good to make 50 Cent and Jimmy Iovine call you the 'Clean Up Man.' I know I did the damn thing, because I never really prepared myself as much as I did for this record, not behind no special reason, but behind me wanting success period. I've been waiting a long time to be in the position I'm in."

Elsewhere, New Jersey-bred rapper Redman is back to serve starving fans with his sixth solo album Red Gone Wild. It's been six long years since the Funk Doc released an album and he hasn't changed his menu too much. Red Gone Wild features first-time collabos with Scott Storch and Timbaland, but mostlty there are the usual suspects, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray and Method Man. Other guests on the album include Hurricane G, crooner Melanie Rutherford, Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg.

"Since the last time I came out, the game changed dramatically," Red told SOHH. "It evolved real quick. So it only gives you an opportunity to get down or lay down. I wasn't ready to sacrifice my integrity with all that shit that was going on. Which I don't mind, a new hip-hop generation is cool. It provides you to feed your family but I wasn't ready to come out with all that going on. But now, everybody's screaming for some hardcore like M.O.P, so patience is a virtue."

Also returning from a lengthy hiatus, but on a different record label (Asylum), is Lil Flip with his fourth solo album I Got Mine. The album , which was originally due in stores last year, was setback after it leaked online. It was also hindered by a dispute between Flip and his former record label, Columbia/Sony Urban.

I Got Mine features appearances from Lyfe Jennings, Mannie Fresh, Three Six Mafia , Collie Buddz, Mike Jones and UGK, among others.

On a mission to revive New York with his debut album, Music Is My Savior, is newcomer Mims. The NYC MC, who grabbed your attention with his smash single "This Is Why I'm Hot," roped in collaborations with Bun B, Junior Reid, Baby Cham, and Letoya Luckett for his first project.

"I'm from New York and people in New York tend to take music too seriously nowadays," Mims told SOHH. "I wanted to show the game that, Yeah the music originated in New York, but as far as hip-hop being dead, that's dead false. 'This Is Why I'm Hot' is a fun record , I had fun with it. The album, Music Is My Savior, that's not a light title. There's a lot of uplifting titles out there, I'm from New York , I gotta show my skills. When you pick up the album you're gonna see there are few records where I bring it lyrically."

Another New Yorker on mission is Prodigy, one half of Queensbridge duo Mobb Deep. To prepare fans for the release of his anticipated sophomore album H.N. I.C. 2, the grirrty rhymer linked up with Cali beat maker Alchemist to craft a collabo project titled Return Of The Mac.

"I'm feeling good about it, it's on once again, it's on... This was a combined effort, we put our heads together, we was like, 'Yo let's make this some old classic shit,'" Prodigy explained to SOHH. "Alc started pulling out all these old samples and I said 'Yeah, that's perfect.' It fits with the title. Return of the Mac, except its M-A-C like the gun. It had a catch to it."

The folks out in the West Coast also want a piece of the action. The Dogg Pound, comprised of Daz and Kurupt, have reunited once again for their third group album titled Dogg Chit. The album, which is entirely produced by the duo, features appearances from The Game, Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, Bad Azz, G. Malone and Jayo Felony, among others.

Lastly is singer Macy Gray making a comeback with her fourth album BIG. The album features collaborations with Natalie Cole, Justin Timberlake, and the most famous Black Eyed Peas, Fergie and Will.i.am.

Damn, are you fucking kidding me!?! I just copped Buck The World and Return Of The Mac at Best Buy. If I woulda known the Target edition had the videos I woulda got it there... the Best Buy edition did have 3 bonus tracks though.

We care to a certain extent about sales, because lets say Buck doesn't sell shit, G-Unit and Interscope ain't gonna wanna release another Buck album for a long time. But lets say Buck sells a lot, they will be more likely to put out a new Buck album sooner.

rather they sell 5,000,000 or 500 cds, they did there thing
so no matter what it wont be a flop cause of the work they put in
