03/13/07 - Havoc (Mobb Deep) Goes International With Voxonic Inc.

Voxonic Inc., the innovators of a proprietary patent-pending software which transforms voices into foreign languages, today announced a partnership with well respected hip hop artist and producer, Havoc, one half of Mobb Deep, to release international voicetones under Voxonic's division, Voxtones. Additionally, Voxonic will convert a soon to be named single into various foreign languages. The selected single will be from Havoc's upcoming solo album.

Havoc, best known for his dark, menacing beats as a member of the Queens hip hop super-group Mobb Deep is a well respected veteran within the music industry with more than 10 years in the record industry. Havoc has rapped alongside and produced for some of the biggest names in Hip Hop such as The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Lil Kim and LL Cool J amongst many more. Norman Bell of Purfek Storm Management, manages Havoc and created the deal on his behalf.

"Voxonic's technology provides artists the opportunity to grow their fan base amongst music lovers internationally," said Arie Deutsch, President of Voxonic, Inc. "With marketing opportunities such as this, I am sure this will ***initely help major record labels, establish a stronger following for their artists upcoming or in markets where they never dreamed possible."

"Working with Voxonic will be a great opportunity for me to diversity my fan base as a solo artist," says Havoc. "This project will also show other artist there are a lot of different ways to market our product and create revenue for ourselves."

Voxonic provides the technology necessary to create voice conversions, which allows voices to be presented in any language with 99% accuracy of the original speaker's voice. This technology promises to have a significant impact on both national and international business, as well as the entertainment industry as voices can now be converted into more than 1,400 different languages including Spanish, French, and German.

I think this is the same company that announced they were gonna be doing some stuff with Biggie's voice...or something like that...either way...technology is crazy...think of the implications this would have on everyday living...I wonder if it takes accents into consideration?
