The ex-Mrs Eminem, Kim Mathers, has revealed she tried to kill herself after watching the rapper and his fans beat up a blow-up doll likeness of her at a concert.

Kim was watching one of Eminem’s early shows when he dedicated a scathing song to her before attacking the doll.

"He was singing a song that was about me and he had a blow-up doll up on stage that looked like me,” she said on the Dr Keith Ablow Show.

"He was physically beating it and kicking it around and threw it out into the crowd.

"Just seeing the crowd's response and everybody cheering, singing the words and laughing and it just felt like everyone was staring at me.

"I knew that it was about me and that night I went home and I tried to commit suicide."

Kim also said she felt forced to speak out about life with Eminem because she is sick of the way he presents her in interviews and songs.

"I've decided to come forward and speak up because of the way that I believe that the world, or the people in general, view me - because of things that have been said about me by Marshall on record and in print," she explained.

She added Eminem’s “ego just went poof” after he became famous and he left her feeling “like a piece of crap”.
