02/16/07 - Wu-Tang’s Hell Razah Drops Free Mixtape

Hell Razah, Wu-Tang affiliate and an original member of Sunz Of Man, is offering a free mixtape in anticipation for his upcoming solo debut, “Renaissance Child.”

The mixtape, titled “Back Into The Renaissance,” is a nine-song tribute to hip-hop’s golden era, specifically 1988.

“I wanted to take it back to when it was just about beats and rhymes,” Hell Razah said in a press statement. “It was that whole Marley Marl era that had the most influence.”

The online mixtape features remakes of classic tracks by Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, and Public Enemy. It can be downloaded for free at .

Meanwhile, his official album “Renaissance Child” drops on Feb. 20 via Nature Sounds.
