02/05/07 - DMX Gears Up For Launch Of Two Clothing Lines

After enjoying a successful music and film career, rapper DMX is taking a stab at the clothing industry with the launch of DMX Authentic and Earl Simmons Signature Collection.

According to a press release, the initial product produced for the line will be "edgy, gritty graphic t-shirts" for those looking for tough, durable quality clothing with contemporary style.

"Real clothing for real people is the inspiration in what many refer to as the 'X Factor' in the DMX apparel collections," said a source from DMX's design team.

The company says the line will go after the niche of the young, aggressive, and hip market looking for clothing to match their lifestyle. They say they use nothing but high-quality fabrics with state of the art graphic treatments and designs that reflect what people want in contemporary clothing today.

DMX, reportedly, handpicked a team to interpret his vision.

While DMX Authentic offers basic pieces and the Earl Simmons Signature Collection offers higher-end specialty pieces, according to the company.

The collections will be available to the public on February 9, 2007.

DMX actually has money tp start a clothing line???....I thought his last album flopped???.....and he's constantly being arrested for foolishness!!...anyway, I guess theresa will run it for him, X isn't all that stable but good luck to him...hopefully, it will be successfuly for him!!!

prolly has boomer all over it. DMX seriously needs to lay off the drugs. he had such a loyal fan base. no matter how horrible his albums got. people still claimed they were good like they do artist from gay unit.
