me, i just dont get the unconditional love that cd god. its like the nas cd, people decided they were the greatest ever PRIOR to the cd coming out, and never changed their mind. what constitutes a classic now in rap, is what would constinute an a-ight cd just a few years ago. standards are mad low. the download generation either dismisses everything as crap, or annoints it as a classic. theres like no middle ground. i guess cause peeps dont have to wait, spend their cash, and really listen.
