After missing two court dates in relation to an arrest this past June, DMX is going to trial.

X (born Earl Simmons) was arrested for driving at unreasonable speeds, making unsafe lane changes and driving without a license on June 2, 2006. The Yonkers, NY rapper faced City Court Judge Barbara Leak yesterday (January 4), confirming that he refused a plea bargain offered by the Westchester County District Attorney's Office last year and assured her that he would be in court for a pretrial hearing on March 6.

"You have to be here," Leak told X during the hearing.

X had a more than a few brushes with the law in 2006. He was ticketed for causing a car accident, was cited for carrying a concealed handgun outside a nightclub in Scottsdale, AZ and missed a court date-prompting a warrant to be issued for his arrest.

"I just want to get this over with as soon as possible," X told the Journal News. "I'm sure I'm the only individual with $25,000 bail on traffic violations."

If convicted X could will serve at most a year in prison and receive a $1000 fine.

DMX is a stupid ass I'm suprised he went a few months without gettin busted.Yeah Busta took the crown these past few months but DMX fucked up.Dude already went to jail once he for sure is goin back if its for this or some new case.DMX needs to just stop drivin cause he is outta control and what is up with people not showin up for court you are gonna get busted anyway with no remorse got to court peopl it is the smart choice.
