12/17/06 - Murder Victim Was Finding Success As A Rapper

The victim of a fatal shooting on Friday night in Colorado Springs had a career as a rapper according to his myspace.com page.

Thirty-year-old Iliff Omar Burelson died from a gunshot wound at the Chief Motel on South Nevada Avenue. Burelson had performed under the name Dat Boy O or DBO.

According to the web page his song entitled Don't Blow Me Up was being played on a local radio station.

Colorado Springs Police are still looking for a suspect in his murder.
