Lupe Fiasco can get rappers as guests on tracks anyday. So, Fiasco has decided to challenge himself. Reports indicate that the Chi-Town MC will try his hand at getting Pink Floyd to appear on his next LP.

"I got my wish list on my last album so I made this one unattainable," he recently told Billboard of his first LP, which featured guests such as Jay-Z, Jill Scott, Pharrell Williams and more. "Now I want to work with Pink Floyd, or the remnants of Pink Floyd," he added.

While Lupe knows this is sure to be a difficult task, he's also confident that it could work. After all, this isn't the first time he's had to face this type of situation.

"'American Terrorist' wasn't going to be on the album, because we heard Chick Corea doesn't like hip-hop," Fiasco explained. "But we went the extra mile to make sure he heard the rest of the record and could see that there was no cursing, and that there was positivity. We were taking extra care with his work and not putting any garbage out there. It's that same approach with Floyd. I'm really serious!"

Fiasco's next LP, tentatively titled The Cool is sure to have some "intensity."

"Lyrically, it's going to be intense, but nothing is recorded as of yet."

everyone is hatin on this idea of him workin with pink floyd... why!?... you havnt heard the track yet... it could some out hot as fuck... pink floyd is a respected rock group even if you dont like them so it aint like their know for makin bad music... we're just gunna have to wait and see...

Props on the info. Anything Lupe gonna do will be hot. Ppl just hating cuz working with Pink Floyd isn't the same old that everyone is used to. When ppl push the boundries that's what makes artists. Can't wait to see what it comes out like.

We don't Give a Fuck bout Rock...DIS IS HIP HOP...& LET'S KEEP IT HIP HOP...Usin' Samples from rock music to make a hot song like Obie's "Wanna Know" Hot...But ACTUALLY WORKIN wit a rock band from tha 70's...NOT...But U do have a point, we haven't heard tha song...so we can't judge it...who knows if he WILL actually do dat collabo

that'd be great. not a big Lupe fan, respect him as a musician though, & not a big Pink Floyd fan, but respect their musicians...shit...Pink Floyd is a classic group. so, this mesh of musicians could definitly work out well.

for me, the more instruments integrated into a harmony, the better. I'm more of a violin in the instrumental type of guy, but guitar riffs can definitly make for a nice track.

either way, it's a good idea in my opinion.

how come those two cant work together? overall, no matter if its hip hop or rock, its music. Hip Hop needs somthing creative these days anyhow.
