11/29/06 - UGK New Album Underground Kingz Pushed Back

Originally due Dec. 19 via Jive, rap duo UGK's long-awaited new album, "U.G.K. Underground Kingz," has been pushed back to Feb. 27. The Pimp C-produced single "The Game Belongs to Me" is already enjoying regional airplay in the south; a video is in the works and will be released in January.

As previously reported, UGK has rounded up Rick Ross, Slim Thug, Sleepy Brown and Three 6 Mafia for guest appearances on the album. The track "H-Town" sports production from Marley Marl plus guest turns from rap legends Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane.
