Dr. Dre of course, you know I definitely look up to him. Its a lot of cats that Id like to work with as far as like production. Lil Jon, I wanna do somethin with Scott Storch, you know something with everybody whos hot.

WorldWideConnected.com: How does the money differ from being signed to a major as opposed to the independent?

I mean, its what you make it G. Its different. In rap, you get paid off of publishing, and all this royalty shit and all that there, and records its just like if you had a product, you could be selling candy. You could get your fifteen dollars on the street or eight dollars wholesale. Thats the difference with that, but as far as money, it all depends how it is. If you got a hot independent record, you could make a whole lotta money, you could sell a hundred thousand of them at eight dollars a piece, you got yourself a ticket (mill ticket, $1,000,000 for those whove been under a rock) you know what Im sayin?

WorldWideConnected.com: Is the Lil Flip and Chamillionaire thing over with?

I dont know whats up wit them cats. A lot of times that I do interviews, yall be putting me up on shit. On the Lil Flip shit, he had did that lil diss record or whatever, and I just responded. I aint the nigga to start shit. Im getting money doing my own thang, and dont pay nobody no mind, but I do respond when I feel like necessary. They spoke on me said my name whatever it was just me letting them know its whatever but you know it aint nothing major that I think about or shit like that. But uh, Chamillionaire? I dont know what the fucks up with him, what you talkin bout with him, is he trippin; too?

Im the only 66 dude around but I dont know he might have something on his heart. A lot of people got shit on their heart wit me because they cant do what I do. We blessed in Texas you know what Im sayin? I got a deal I think about a year or something ago. Right when I got that deal, shit just went crazy, like they seen what I was finna do, and mothafuckas just started grabbin everybody, snatchin everybody up. They just seen the whole movement. I dont know what took them so long, I dont know why all of a sudden, cause everbodys been making noise. Me, Mike Jones, and Paul Wall, been making noise. I dont know what it was that made them just jump on it, but they jumped on it, and were just taking advantage of the opportunity. I came in number three in the country, Mike Jones came in at number three, Paul Wall came in at number one! So you know, everythings good, we just taking advantage of our blessings.

WorldWideConnected.com: Bringing it back for a minute, Ive seen you on MTV Cribs: Rides edition, BET, and all that. How do you feel about all these rappers who rap about phantoms, and whips, and all these cars, and money, but dont really have any real paper.

It aint really none of my business man. I dont really pay attention to them. I mean, I aint gonna talk down on them or nothin like that, thats what they do. Im not that nigga. If you go through my raps, check my shit. If you aint got no Phantom, but you rappin about it, cool. Speak up on it. But me, personally, I dont speak on shit I dont got. So if a mothafucka gets tired of me talking about my Rolls (Royce) at least Im talking about what the fuck Im doing for real! I aint got a big imagination. What you hear me talking about is what I do. I dont know how other rappers do it and I aint knockin other rappers if thats what they do, then cool. Biggest imagination Im on the block in my 645 (BMW). I aint got a 645, but I got a 760 (BMW) so you know it aint like I cant afford that shit, but I dont just lie about shit like that.

WorldWideConnected.com: How come I havent heard any Scarface on anyones stuff. I havent heard him on your album, Paul Walls or Mike Jones whats with that.

I was supposed to do a record with Face man. And we was talkin about it and trying to get it together it was just like a lot of back and forth, like the 1st record I tried to give to him, I dont think he liked the beat. Face moves slow, everybody know that, he a boss nigga. He a legend in the game, thats how niggas move when they a legend in the game. So it got to the point where it was a time thang, and it just didnt happen, but I definitely wanted to get Face on there on my album, and I fuck with face, we definitely gonna hook up in the future but it was just a time thing. I had to hurry up and put out hat album. I got tired of sayin Already Platinum, coming soon! and the bootleg was already in the streets, and I just said fuck it and put that shit out.

WorldWideConnected.com: So you being the Boss Hogg of the North, whats the difference between the North and South of Houston??

A lot. Shit its a lot. The difference is like the Northside niggas. First of all, when I was coming in the game, real talk, when I first started rappin there wasnt no Northside music, it wasnt no Northside. It was a few niggas, Im not gonna take all the niggas out the box. It was Trinity Gardens, and some people you probably never heard of. It was like one or two Northside rappers. But as far as getting that Southside love, it wasnt happening. There wasnt no Northside rappers before we came, and that was my whole point at what I was doing. The Southside had the shit on lock. Screw was the shit, Screw was selling a million mothafuckin tapes and you had all the Southside niggas: Lil Keke, Pokey, everybody. Everybody was doing they thang and shinin and that was my whole thing. I said Man Im tired of everbody talking bout there aint no North and talking down on the North So I didnt really listen to no Screw, I wasnt really a fan for the simple fact; Im a real nigga, I aint gonna beat around the bush and say that Oh, I was listening to Screw now that hes dead. I wasnt listening to Screw tapes. They was saying fuck the House! (Swisha) Fuck Michael{5000} Watts and that aint the real shit. I wasnt listening to all that. I was like Fuck that! Im going to represent my side and I was representing my click and doing it how we was doing in on the North. I never dick ride no nigga to get in this game. You wont hear me using other niggas shit from the South or simple shit like that. If I was to do it, itll be a problem to a lot of niggas. Like the shit Paul Wall did, Paul Wall can do it. He gets that type of exception, he gets accepted like that. He a white boy. Aint no one gonna mess with no white boy. He also fucks with the Southside. He be out there on South Lea, I dont expect you to know about it, but thats his neighborhood. But me, I fuck with all of them and we all cool and shit, but if I was to fuck with a nigga from the Southside and do a record and shit, not saying that the artist himself would trip, but a lot of niggas on the Southside would trip. It wouldve been a problem. So I dont do that. I do my own thang, and make my own shit and thats it.

Im grinding man. Im trying to do this tour, me and Jeezy and them, and put the Boys in Blue shit out. Thats my click. Top of the year were gonna drop that and Im gonna drop another solo. Then everybodys doing there solo thang.

WorldWideConnected.com: Speaking of the tour, are you guys going to make your way out to the Bay Area?

Oh man, I aint ever been to the Bay to perform or nothing. I been to the Bay to do a song with a dude and I was there for eight hours one time. I fuck with the bay because from what I hear, they do it like we do it in Texas, independent. Every time I go to an event, mothafuckas from the Bay be out there and say that they fuck with me. So I need to get out there.
