Havoc Grants Access To “Hidden Files,” New Solo Set Coming In Feb
Havoc, one half of seminal Queens, New York duo Mobb Deep, is prepping his new solo album Hidden Files for release next month. The disc will follow up the rapper/producer’s debut solo set, 2007’s The Kush. Featuring appearances from his partner-in-rhyme Prodigy, Philly-bred rapper Cassidy, and Infamous affiliate Big Noyd, Hidden Files‘ first single will be “Watch Me” with newcomer Ricky Blaze.[Listen Here] Hidden Files is scheduled to drop on February 24 on E1 Music, formerly known as Koch Records. Koch announced the name change last week, according to Billboard. E1 bought the indie powerhouse back in June of 2005. In related news, Mobb Deep will be releasing The Infamous Instrumentals on the same date that Hav’s solo album drops. The rhyme free disc will include the beats to many of the group’s classics like “Quiet Storm,” “Shook Ones Pt.2” and “Survival of the Fittest.” Source: xxlmag
