a teardrop iz scatterin down my cheek
cuz i see a 5 year old layin dead on da street
all becuz a drive by bullet missed da target
n i cant believe that ppl on t.v saw this
and did nuttin about it
damn da wealthiest nation dont care about ppl dets dyin n starvin
and i cant find ppl to blame becuz i feel ashamed
of da things that i did in my lifetime but i changed
and while da government iz throwin ppl in jail
den lettin dem out pedofiles n murderers are on ur block city n town
right now lookin 4 tha next victim do u care or are u juss gonna bow down
n look away forget about what happened yestaday n be the prey tomorow?

but it seems as though this aint workin

dere waz a 14 year old girl she waz a little over weight n insecure
she watched models in pitures and whished det she waz on tour
and she wished she could be skinny but she had to eat alot
at least dets what da doctor sed n all da girlz teased her she wanet to be dead
not knowin det she waz smart and that she had a warm heart
becuz her parents didnt complement her n they were neva around
becuz they were wit her sister shoppin for new clothes n gettn ready for a prom gound
not knowin that when they came back their daughter waz missin n coodnt be found
all becuz her parents neva told her that they were proud
i guess theres a lesson to be learned about lovin kidz since birth
cuz this girl kooda bin a doctor or a lawyer but now this pain hurts
the parent the sister and the missin girl n the million more like her around the world
