09/17/07 - East Coast: "Fuck J-Hood; Nothing Without D-Block!"

Nah, those ain't my words, but from forum to forum and blog to blog, those are the types of comments you'll see about the J-Hood talks with 50. I have to jump in cause I see it all over HHB too, and shit just ain't right!

Face it, Jae is probably signing with the Unit; appearing on tour with Remy, Jim & Juelz (all who have shown interest in working with G-Unit), is a clear sign that's the camp he's leaning toward. Who else can put his name out there better than G-Unit? The problem comes from seemingly unsettled beef between the Unit and Jae's former clique, D-Block. From a D-Block fan's perspective, Jae is coppin' out for the money and is turning his back on his camp. From an artist's perspective, leaving D-Block is probably the best decision Hood can make, and here's why...

Jae cliqued up with D-Block when he was 17... he is now 23! You can do the math, but for those who can't I'll spell it out for you: six (6) years! Tales From The Hood has been on the back burner for ages, and Hood has been nothing but loyal to D-Block -- putting down ill freestyles, outshining his counterparts on multiple cuts, and jumpin right in the mix of beef between arguably one of the biggest artists in Hip Hop today. So for 6 years this kid, and I mean kid literally, has been hustlin on mixtapes and more trying to get on, and D-Block has put him nowhere near success. And we don't even know the half of what happened with those clowns; the way Jae speaks, he's still worrying about paying RENT... that's how you look out for your crew? Jada and Styles talking about being caked up on I Get Money (or I Got It, as Jada says), yet they leave their lil man in the dust. That's shady, and Hood deserves more respect from his fans than that...

Thats wut im sayin D-block gives him no buzz all they do is shout him out once in a blue and J-hood is the best person in d-block...i think its a good idea to go wit the Unit and...actually drop tales from the hood for once that shit been pushed back for years i heard of albums bein pushed back for months but for years...d-block kno they aint cakin..lmao how they cakin they get no love and when they did...Diddy was takin there money...But anywayz j-hood should go wit the unit..and i dont think d-block and g-unit beefin anymore

i agree wit da fact that jae hood made a good choice 2 leave dblock to move on in his career, get a record out cuz he wuznt goin anywhere wit dblock...

BUT he made a wrong and pussy move to immediately leave dblock then go on stage with their rival who he dissed on countless occasions and say 'fuk dblock' and drag his chain on the cement on tv...not only does it make him look like a fake bitch, but like a puppet, 50 and gunit remember all the shit he said 2 them in diss songs, and they wont 4get it... and 2 say all that shit 2 dblock when their apparently wuznt a beef?? jus weak

I agree with you 100%. J-Hood has been nothing but loyal and D-Block hasn't looked after him. He wasn't even a featured guest on "Kiss of Death", 1 song on each Styles P. album.. It's like they didn't want to put him on just because he might've stolen the spotlight. I dunno but it seems that way.

Just listen to his interviews... J-Hood made a good decision bottomline..
