It's been a minute since I've posted up a blog, truth be told I wasn't really feeling the format we have to work with as editorial writers for HHBoard now that blog.hh411.com was taken down, but I guess this beats nothing eh?

Look forward to me dropping some editorials regarding East Coast hip-hop news. If you aren't familiar with me read through , it has some basic info about me... but enough of that, let's get to the news...

I'm sure most of you already heard, J-Hood had some ill feelings toward D-Block's management so far. D-Block's been a black hole for a long time; not that their camp doesn't have talent, they just aren't connecting in the mainstream like they should. Some credit it to their inability to make songs with radio-play appeal, others just think they're just not consistent enough to grow their fan base, but whatever the case, D-Block is no place for a fresh face to clique up with... if they can't get on themselves, how they going to put someone else on?

So Jae had the fall out, spoke on the situation and visited a few labels -- most notably 50/G-Unit. There's been a shadow of a doubt over Hood's motives, but on a track that dropped today called "Who I'ma Sign 2", we get a first hand look at what's going on in the mind of Hood and, what's going on with his business ventures too.

I agree Jae has what it takes he just needs the machine behind him. If he goes with 50 he might lose a chunk of his D-Block following, but nothing he can't recoupe IMHO.

I think he will be at home on g-unit IF he doesn't get to be treated like hot rod, spider loc and the other nobodies they have in the vid's and 50 really pushes him he'll get the success he is capable of.
